Control X axis lablels Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I have a graph of an outcome variables (Y) by years (X). I want X axis labels to show odd rather than even years, but I can't for the life of me figure out how. It wants to either display all the years or just the even years. See the image below to see what happens when I set the bounds of the axis to 1981 to 2007.

The data used to create the graph.
10
70
240
597
1039
1222
1356
1396
1403
1525
1575
1584
1617
1655.61
1702.61
1703.38
1711.35
1853.29
2511.83
2578.63
4272.63
4684.85
6357.31
6729.05
9149.17
11603.00
16861.00
25227
35237
40353

Sorry about this!

Currently tick and tick label intervals are always applied starting at zero rather than the beginning of the data or axis range. This means that "every other" will always be evens, and "every 100" will always be multiples of 100 (not 150, 250, etc). We have a feature request open on this in our development database and I've added your example to it; for the time being at least I'm sorry to disappoint.
