Hyperlinks gone berzerk Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I was dragging items from one project to another, and suddenly almost all of my items and some projects have become hyperlinks. They are blue and underlined and when clicked open a new, duplicate window. They seem hyperlinked to themselves. What have I done? How can I undo it?

Try resetting your style preferences (OmniFocus -> Preferences -> Style -> "Reset" button in lower left corner).

If you have a custom theme applied, you may want to save it first.

Bingo! That worked -- many thanks. I still wonder how I inadvertently have applied that style to the majority of my items, but thanks for helping me unravel that snarl.
There used to be a bug where you could drag some formatted text into the sidebar and have this happen, as I recall. I wasn't able to reproduce it just now with a limited amount of trying, so maybe that route has been fixed. If you can figure out how to do it again, use Help->Send Feedback to send in a report so your method can be addressed as well.
