Off-line Cache Reading & Pruning Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Greetings OW engineers:

The one feature I REALLY rue missing is iCab's ability to fully read and keep its cache totally off-line -- even videos and flash, and even store them as standalone archives. It also has the great non-"throw the baby out with bathwater" ability to delete specific pages within your cache without having to clear the whole thing -- along with pages you DO want to keep in the cache.

Please keep up the great work!

Yes, on a laptop without permanent connection, local caching of recently visited pages would be very useful.

To address concerns about the timeliness of information on saved pages, OW could overlay a corner label like the duplicate handling in Address Book, with relative dates e.g. "Last Refreshed Yesterday", or "Last Refreshed 16/10/2007".
