I just want to plot points from data but not have them connected by a line. How do I do that?

OmniGraphSketcher connects imported data by default, but you can subselect the connecting line by tapping it again after selecting it, and use the Delete item in the edit menu. I hope this helps! Let me know if you get stuck.
