Great Browser but MAJOR FAIL in one area.... Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
The only way to alphabetize the bookmarks is to go the bookmarks page, which is great....but when you close it, it doesn't rearrange the bookmarks in the drop down menu?

That makes no sense what so ever.

Something as basic as putting things in alphabetic order ??!!

Seriously????? Wow....

You aren't alphabetizing your bookmarks when you click on the Label header, you are simply telling OmniWeb to order them by name in that window. The actual order of the bookmarks is unchanged, so when you close the window, the menu is not changed either. If you want them in a different order in the menu, drag them around in the Bookmarks window to reorder them.

If you organize your bookmarks in a structured fashion with the tools provided, you won't care whether it sorts them for you or not because you'll have short, focused lists. Look at the sample bookmarks that come from Omni for examples.

That is exactly my point....why would being in order NOT be an option? It only seems logical to do it in SOME sort of order.

I don't know what you mean by the sample bookmarks.....I see the ones that are in there from Omnigroup but it just looks like bookmarks thrown in there.
