In case it helps, you can accomplish the same thing from OmniFocus' "Advanced" tab in Sync preferences. Enter the same info as in step 6 of turbo's preferences and OmniFocus will connect to swissdisk. (WebDAV works fine over https.)
Mounting the disk in the finder and using the Disk tab should work just fine - it just adds a few more steps.
