My question is plain and simple. Is it possible to turn off the option "Snap to grid" by default?

I have tried :

• Saving the workspace
• Saving the document as a template

To no avail. If someone could help me, because this would save me the frustration of almost always turn this option off when I create something.

I'm guessing the way to turn this off by default is a command-line argument. Does anyone know it?

Also, does any one know how to turn ON 'smart alignment guides' by default?
