OmniWeb doesn't like Go Daddy certificate Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
When I got a security warning from a trusted site ("The server certificate for "[domain snipped]" is not signed by any root server."), I reported the problem to the site administrators and then enabled the "Always trust" option in the Show Certificate details.

The site administrator reported back:
The certificate is quite valid and has been signed by a root server. The only thing is that OmniWeb doesn't recognize the CA that was used.

You might try updating OmniWeb's CA list, otherwise "always trust" is the best option. Most other browsers on other platforms do not have this issue and recognize the CA out of the box.
Is it true that OmniWeb does not recognize the "Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority"?
