When viewing a text file in the browser, as in http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/bionicle.txt , choose "save". The dialog defaults to webarchive, when IMO as a plain TXT it should default to "source".
Manually selecting "source" correctly saves a txt file.
