Has anyone set up a bingo disk using ssl/https and made it work with OF sync?

How about the native OS X WebDav server?

I really want to buy OF for my Touch, and get it synced with my laptop and desktop. But it's got to happen through some sort of a secure connection, or I can't use it. Ideally, it would be great to be able to do it over the internet and not just locally.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not a full-on noob, but I'm also not a sys admin dude either.

So I'm looking for a decent balance between security and ease of set-up.

Before I abandoned a third-party solution (corporate policy - can't store company data on third party servers) I tried to get bingodisk working. I managed to make it work with HTTP, but always got the 502 error with HTTPS.

Save your money for now, and wait for Omni to release a direct-wireless sync version.
