Upgrades don't pick up prefs or database

Hi there,

When I try to upgrade OmniFocus (alphas), for some reason when I restart I have to "restore my database" from the backup, and re-set some of my preferences. I've searched the forums but haven't really found any responses. Any ideas what might be going on?
