If you go to http://finance.google.com and enter a stock symbol, say our beloved AAPL, and follow the link, you will get a brilliant interactive flash graphic.
Above the graphic, you can click the "compare" button, and add a few stocks to the interactive graph. In OW, the traces for the additional stocks are not added live as you check them off. This happens in Safari.
So, it seems as if there is a bug in AJAX processing such that the information from the checked box is not relayed to the graphic server, as it should be.
