Can row colors be indented? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi all,

When I color a row's background, the entire row width becomes that color, no matter what level the text is indented.

Is there a setting so the row color "starts" at the indent? That would be much easier to follow.

The same area that's highlighted when you click "All level 1 rows," "All level 2 rows," etc.

I've used a couple outliners that did that, but can't see how (or if) OO can.

Thanks very much!

You can sorta do this if you set the gutter color for the whole document to white, or whatever color the background is of the whole document. The gutter color setting is under the Row:Advanced inspector.

Thanks for the workaround, DerekM!

Maybe it can be a feature request in the future.

Much appreciated!
