Connectors: choosing where on a shape to attach them Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Dear All,

I am trying to connect two shapes in a process flow. I want to choose where on a shape the connectors attach themselves to, as the defaults seem to pick the sides of the shapes that are closest to each other.

I am new to Omnigraffle so have no idea whether it is not possible or I just can't find out how to make it happen.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Neil

You can use magnets to determine where a line will connect to a shape; either use the Magnet Tool or the Connections Inspector to place magnets where you'd like.

Hope that helps,
