Omniweb 5.7 takes *forever* to start! Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Ever since I upgraded to 5.7 it takes at *least* 2 minutes for Omniweb to start from the time it's launched.

I'm using 10.5.4 on a recent Macbook Pro (2.5 ghz Core 2 Duo).

Any ideas?
 
You might try removing your history index file located here:

~/Library/Application Support/OmniWeb 5/HistoryIndex.ox
 
I have seen up to seven minutes on my MacBook. Something has to be done to speed up the history index.
