After one changes text to subscript, is there a way to balance out the line spacing between text sections that do have subscripts and those that do not? Right now, my text is a horrible mess, with more spacing between some lines and not others.

After one changes text to subscript, is there a way to balance out the line spacing between text sections that do have subscripts and those that do not? Right now, my text is a horrible mess, with more spacing between some lines and not others.
