Desktop:
Sync turned on for MobileMe.
iPhone:
Auto Sync OFF
Desktop:
Update some data.
Click Sync Now
Mobile Me:
Check that OmniFocus.ofocus shows time of last update correctly ie from Desktop
WAIT A FEW MINUTES
iPhone:
Click sync button on iphone.
At end of sync data is not updated as I would expect.
Desktop:
Omni Focus asks if I want to reopen document to bring data up to date.
If I accept this it uses data saved from iPhone.
Sometimes it works correctly and sometimes it doesn't.
One solution is:
Desktop:
Backup Database and Quit OmniFocus
MobileMe.
Delete OmniFocus.ofocus
iPhone:
In Settings click Reset Database.
Desktop:
Restart OmniFocus and sync.
MobileMe.
Check OmniFocus.ofocus has appeared.
iPhone:
In Settings set Syncronization back to MobileMe (It gets set to None when you Rest Database)
Sync to get "Clean Database"
(Note: If you click the Sync arrows at the bottom the app sometimes crashes on the iPhone. It seems safer when in the OmniFocus is in main view - although on my most recent test it didn't crash)
The app then states "reloading new data" although I would argue it's not reloading because it didn't exist before.
That's probably like the famous Apple "Canceling" ..... it always looks wrong this side of the pond.
Moral: Back up database Locally on desktop. frequently.
Latest build of OF (103907) and test run using Wi-Fi
