Often I'll look down to notice my status bar gone. Anyone else?

Today it was working fine and after five minutes it had vanished. OW had not crashed or quit in meantime.

Not a major problem but rather a minor annoyance.

I've been wondering if there was a stus bar in OW, never searched for it though. But now that I read our post and turned it on, i realised it was there when i first started using OW.
I never ever turned it off ...

It will get turned off when a javascript pop-up window opens (which tend to be designed to hide the toolbar and status bar when they are allowed to open a new window). As these now open within the same window as normal tabs (if you have selected that preference), then it is probable that you will see your status bar disappear this way...

There is. You can toggle the status bar with Command-\ (Apple-\)

Not to be confused with the same feature in Safari, which is toggled with Command-/
