When I highlight text on a web page in Omniweb and go to Omniweb>Services>Search with Google, it launches Safari. Is there a setting that I set to make it do this in Omniweb?

That particular service is offered by Safari, so no. However, you could install and use http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/7074 instead which will use your default browser.

You could also use Command-Shift-F. This will move highlighted text into the toolbar search field, from there you can choose whatever search engine you like.
