I am pretty sure this is due to the fact that we currently do not correctly handle JavaScript writing in to a newly-created window in order to populate it with content. This is noted in our bug database and we'll certainly fix it sooner rather than later as it is a pretty major bug at this point. A lot of sites do this type of thing.
