Paying bill thru HSBC Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I have a monthly Costco bill I've been paying for many moons thru HSBC. This month, when I click the Pay Bill button, a new tab opens, like it always has, except now I get an error that there is a problem and to contact customer service, which I did.

Of course, they were no help and said I need to use FireFox.

Anyway, I tried, all the spoofing in Site Preferences, no help.

I then tried in FireFox, Safari, and Camino. They all work fine.

This is the first time I've tried to pay this bill with OW since upgrading to Leopard on a new 24" Intel iMac. So I don't know what the real issue might be, whether it's OW, Leopard with OW, or if I'm just not holding my mouth right.

I flushed the cache, rebooted, even talked nicely, but OW just won't cooperate.

I've run into an issue similar to this, but with audifs.com. It started in 5.6 and seems to be cookie related.

Good call.

I unchecked "Only from the current site." I also deleted the rejected cookies.

I then went to the bill pay site and it loaded fine.

I rechecked "Only from the current site" now that OW had an accepted cookie. Life is wonderful again.
