I am getting inconsistent behavior from OGS when I try to add axis labels to a plot. Sometimes, after adding data, I can add x-axis tick labels easily by pasting them in. Other times, pasting them in (even when I select the x-axis explicitly) results in them being pasted as a text box, which seems bizarre:



The text is a column from a Numbers spreadsheet, the exact same length as that of the data. Can someone explain how OGS decides what to do with the text, and why it would behave as expected in some situations and not others?

I'm not sure of the exact reason this might be happening. But I do see what looks like an empty row in the pasted label. Is there an empty row in the column of cells you're trying to paste?
