MS Word docx export problem Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I was just experimenting with the docx export. It doesn't seem to be respecting the row numbering from OO once it gets to Word.

the OO outline is numbered as follows:

I.
1.
2.
3.

II.
1.
1.1
1.2
2
2.1
2.2
2.2.1
2.2.2

III.

But in MS Word it's like this:

I.
1.1
1.2
1.3

II.
1.4
1.4.1
1.4.2
1.5
1.5.1
1.5.2

Any thoughts?

This is unfortunately expected. MS Word defines row labeling in a very different way from OmniOutliner and it isn't currently possible make the Word export match. Unless you use very basic labeling, the row labeling used in the export is to show you where you applied it so you can redo it in Word.

Okay. Thanks. Good to know.
