First, I want to say I love the app well worth $20....I think there are some kinks to work out though...

I get the "loading" message quite often, I would say almost every other I start up OF from a sleep mode. I would say it takes about 10 seconds or so for it to "come back". If I leave it "in the app" prior to sleeping is ready as soon as I turn it on.

Actually I have done some more testing and this happens anytime I leave the application. For example if I go to mail, read a message, go back to OF, it take 8-10 seconds for the app to "come ready". So I guess this is some sort of a memory management issue?

I've had some "Loading..." times that can be measured in minutes. Sometimes these loads have been followed by crashes.

I archived some data in OF on my Mac (as suggested by Brian in the FAQs) so that I have fewer than 1000 available actions and this was cleared right up. I still have around 950 actions so its not like I'm operating with a barebones system - but loading on my phone is now only a few seconds.

Fewer than 200 actions, no attached files or other space hogs, and the only way to stop the "loading..." screen is to delete and reinstall the application.

Are you synching? When there are changes on both the server and the local device that have to be merged, we have to essentially re-build our database from scratch. Because the phone has a CPU that's much slower than a desktop machine, this can take several minutes.

If you try to avoid editing on both the phone and your desktop at the same time, you should see this rarely if at all.

Noticed this thread, which could also be a factor. If that does turn out to be the case, please drop a post on that thread so we can track the scale of the situation.
