Newbe on percentages allocated to tasks Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi there,

Only been using this for a day and am a bit confused on how to adjust the percentage of time that a person can be allocated to a task..

Basically i have a designer who needs to be scheduled 100% on a project but is only set to 20%..

They are not allocated to other tasks so i dont get why it is not allocating 100%?

Also I would appreciate and guidance on how set the designer to unassigned tasks..?

I have attached the file i am working on that i initially downloaded from the web.

Thanks very much in advance.

has your designer done only 20% of the work or are you in the planning stages?
You didn't mention which task you are seeing the issue with, so it's hard to be certain, but looking at the file you sent, there are numerous tasks where the resources are assigned to work at only a small fraction. Look at the Task Assignments inspector when you have one of these tasks selected.
