no show Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
It seems (in 5.5) that the following does not produce the desired effect:

<a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer"><img src="valid-html401" alt="Valid HTML 4.01 Transitional" height="31" width="88"></a></p>

It should show the 'valid HTML' picture, but it does not. Why would that be so?

PS This should actually be in "Bug Reports", but I noticed that only after posting this, sorry for that.

I've got a hunch that the image is being ad-blocked. Try unchecking 'matching known ad sizes' in the ad block preferences, and see if the image appears.

We block based on the sizes at http://www.iab.net/standards/adunits.asp
 
these were excellent hunches, the problem was, as usual, in my own head…
