I'm an idiot. 1:50am and i found it ! Right in front of me all the time. Under View - Always show full row text !

You guys are off the hook cos i've admitted i'm the plonker. Off to the races.
I'll run some prints in the day to check all is as good as it now looks onscreen.

Yes this is first class now i taught myself how to use my software !

Still think there could be more explicit control of the print characteristics (like oo), but it does work.

I would like to see a dynamic html output or even a whisker of control for the current static html export. A feature great for sharing, but current html export is a but weak. For now i can get going with great structured and well formatted pdf's :->

It sounds like you're seeing the "ligature bug", where certain letter sequences are compressed, leaving a gap next to them. "fl" and "ff" are popular ones depending on the font used.

Please use Help --> Send Feedback to report the bug. If Omni knows that multiple people are affected by the bug it will increase the priority of fixing it.

I'm not able to get my copy of OmniFocus to truncate words on wrap, so I'm not really able to propose a workaround - if you send a PDF of what you're seeing to the support ninjas, we'll be better able to help. :-)

This sounds like a problem with the font you're using - or OmniFocus having a problem with the font you're using, I guess. I've seen problems like this from time to time in our various apps, but it's usually pretty specific to the user seeing it.

Contact the support ninjas so they can help; as far as I know, it's not a known bug in the database that would get fixed by an update.

Folks should definitely report this - 'ligature' turns up no hits in the development database for OmniFocus (bugs or feature requests, open or closed).

I see stuff filed against OmniWeb, OmniGraffle, and OmniOutliner; Curt, if you've sent something in previously, can you let me know?
