It would be helpful if the Inbox "floated" at the top of the projects list, rather than scrolling with the rest of the content. As I'm getting my inbox to zero, it's a hassle to have to keep scrolling back up to the top.

I suppose that's true, but it's a less-than-ideal solution. Two windows works great on my 30" Cinema Display, but screen real estate on a laptop lends itself more to a single-window approach.
