I updated OmniWeb just before buying Leopard. The party line is that 5.6 was built "all the way down to the ones and zeroes" to work with Leopard. And yet every time I open it Omni crashes within 5 minutes. I don't see anyone raising this issue, which makes me think perhaps this is only happening to me. But does anyone have any idea what's going on?

I LOVE OmniWeb, and Omni products in general, but this is insufferable.

(Also as a side effect of the constant crashes I tried to export my bookmarks into Safari for the time being, but found no way to do this. Can anyone tell me how to export bookmarks from OmniWeb?)

I am having the same problems. Reliability is an issue and some websites cause omniweb to crash completely. Hopefully they will be fixed soon. I don't like Safari very much compared to Omniweb

Be sure to send your crash reports in and if you can reproduce these crashes please send us some feedback via the "Send Feedback" link in the Help menu.

As for exporting bookmarks. Just use the import format within Safari, it will read the OmniWeb bookmarks and add them to your library there just fine.
