Applescript, Presentation Mode & View Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi

I have created a network diagram in OmniGraffle Pro with applescript events to turn specific elements off (i.e simulate h/w failure)

I have a few gripes with the applescript use in OG that I'd like to pass back to Omni for future updates to this great app.

1) The applescript edit window is WAY to small! And can't be expanded. Why?

2) Applescript events don't work in Presentation Mode, shame as I have a nice diagram, with clickable items to show/hide layers and would be nice if they worked in this mode too.

3) Applescript icon on elements - whilst this is nice to tell which items have scripts, would be nice to turn them off as they start to clutter up the screen.

4) The only view I can get the applescript events to work in is the general edit view. This has all the element handles, etc shown and again clutters up the screen.

5) Bit of a wish, but could there be a quicktime or self-running export so I could distribute my interactive OG diagram to others.

Thanks
