Looking for scheduling template Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hello all,

I'm scheduling events for a convention coming up, and would like to use OG to both track resource usage and layout the daily meetings in an attractive manner. I was certain that someone has done this in the past, and I could find a couple nice templates to work off of. But so far I've not been able to find anything.

Setup is pretty simple: hours running down the left side of the page with lines indicating 15 min intervals, and then a series of columns that could be filled with colored blocks based on the length of the event. It's similar to what iCal looks like, but I'd also like to lock the events into columns showing where the meeting is being held.

My OG experience is primarily diagrams, and I haven't tried to fit something into a structure like this before. Anything recommendations to make this as smooth as possible would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Ben

I created a "program overview" for a small conference recently here. It is in German only, but it might still provide some inspiration. Check out the cool hyperlinks! :-)

Of course, for larger conferences, you would probably want to create the schedule programmatically...
