Restore window position Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi,

On my machine I'm using a shortcut to bring up my perspectives. (⌃1-⌃4)

I have one issue here, because the window position doesn't seem to be remembered by OF.
Whenever calling OF through such a shortcut the window appears on the bottom left or bottom middle. Everytime recalling OF I'm trying to reposition the window to the middle of the screen, but that "setting" seems not to be saved somewhere.

Is that a general issue with OF? Is it supposed to work like this? Can I work around somehow?

Thanks,
Zettt

  1. Use Perspectives > Take Snapshot of ...
to ensure that the window co-ordinates are saved.

  2. Hold down the option key while retrieving a perspective,
to ensure that the saved co-ordinates are used.
