I've been searching for a solution to my requirement to reference Entourage emails within my Omnifocus tasks - regularly checking forums and performing Google searches - without success.
I have myself now hit upon the following solution which I thought I'd share here.
The first thing I have done is to create a folder in Entourage called @Action. I move any messages requiring further action into that folder. I then export the items in that folder as .eml files using eeax from Softhing (it's clever enough not to export the same message several times) into a normal os/x folder on my laptop. I can link or embed those files into the relevant Omnifocus task(s) and when I double click them they open in Entourage. Works like a charm!
One other minor twist is that the files names in os/s are exactly the same as the subject line in Entourage which can be a bit of a mess. Entourage does not allow you to change the subject line but there's a script here http://www.microsoft.com/communities...&cr=&sloc=&p=1 that does the job for you.
I hope others find this approach useful.
