What is the Safe Application for opening zip files? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I seem to recall that OmniWeb used to automatically expand a downloaded zip file. That was before upgrading to Leopard and to the latest release of OmniWeb.

With OmniWeb 5.7sp1, I have to identify a Safe Application to Open when a zip files is downloaded. But I don't know what application that would be, especially after I stopped using StuffIt Expander except for .sit files.

That would be System/Library/CoreServices/Archive Utility

In cases of safety you might not use these feature in none of the browsers around.
