Synching between my iPhone and MacBook suddenly stopped - the iPhone wasn't able to connect to the MacBook's database. I'm not sure why this happened.

However, I found that if I used the "Move old data to archive..." command in Omnifocus (on the MacBook), then Omnifocus on the iPhone was able to find the database and synch with it.

Hope this is of use should anyone else 'lose' their database.
