Hi,
I am running OmniWeb 5.11.2 on my Mac which is version OSX 10.8.2

I am now fed up with OmniWeb constantly crashing and I would like to try a previous version. However, when I locate 5.10. etc and try to download that it insists on giving me the latest version ---which I am trying to escape from.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Igsy.

You might be better off working around the crashes. A few months ago I was in the situation you are in. I found that when using Preferences->Ad Blocking to prevent loading of any content from a site that was serving Flash ads, OW crashes became much rarer.

Thanks for your reply.I will try what you suggest and see how it goes.

Again.many thank for taking the trouble to respond.

OK --- it's been a week now and OW keeps crashing so often it's becoming unusable.

Any advice, including reference to my original question of where to download earlier versions would be very welcome.

Maybe you find a working version here.

I had a crashing problem that was related to fonts some time ago.
It was caused by duplicate fonts. Maybe you can check this.

Many thanks for your reply. I am now using version 5.10.3 and will see how it goes.
I have had a look at fonts and can't see any problem there.

Here we go then,fingers crossed.
