How to make shadings/hatchings (Schraffuren) Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi,

for graphics that are printed in black and white (especially technical drawings), it would be nice to use shadings (or is it called hatching? german: Schraffur; see attachment for an example) instead of filling with some gray background. Just like it is done in CAD programms like AutoCad). Is there a nice way to make hatches?

This could be a Pro only feature, but you access pattern fills using the Colour palette when applying a "Fill":



Note, if you use a linear or radial blend fill, you can use two hatchings together to make combinations:
