Newbie question: Pasting text Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
No idea how frequently this has been solved, so apologies in advance.

I have a lot of hierarchical lists in plain text tab-indent which look kind of like this:
HTML Code:
One
   One A
   One B
      One B 1
      One B 2
   One C
Two
Three
Is there a quick way to paste or import this text straight into OmniGraffle and have it generate an appropriate outline?

Not as such in OmniGraffle (but it's something we want to support eventually).

However, you can paste into OmniOutliner and get the proper outline form, which if saved can be opened in OmniGraffle and laid out as a diagram.

Hope that helps,

I knuckled under and bought a copy of Outliner. It works. I'm happy!
