Webkit version used in sneaky peek builds Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
What version of Webkit is used in the current Omniweb sneaky peek builds? Is it the same used in Safari 4.0.4?

The sneaky builds are currently based off of the 4.0.3 version of Safari. We'll be updating to the latest version at some point here, sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the clarification. Does this mean that Omniweb is less secure than Safari 4.0.4?

I'm not seeing anything significant in 4.0.4. We do generally patch security issues as soon as we can.
