exporting notes from OG5 Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
The website says OG5 now has the ability to export notes to OmniOutliner 3. That's a great new feature (since OG4 didn't do this)!

However, I can't see how to export my notes in OG5. Can anyone clue me in? If I save as OO3 I get all the boxes and then the notes show up as OO3 notes but with a bunch of "extra" stuff. I just want the notes.

Here's what I want:

This is the biggest idea.

Here's what I get:

{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\cocoartf949\cocoasubrtf270
{\fonttbl\f0\fswiss\fcharset0 Helvetica;}
{\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;}
\pard\tx560\tx1120\tx1680\tx2240\tx2800\tx3360\tx3 920\tx4480\tx5040\tx5600\tx6160\tx6720\ql\qnatural \pardirnatural

\f0\fs24 \cf0 This is the biggest idea. }

So if I had many notes I'd have a LOT of extra work to get rid of "junk" within OO3. My guess, however, is that I'm doing something wrong here.

No, this is a bug that was discovered yesterday, so you're not doing anything wrong here. We'll get this addressed as soon as we can.
