I have a list of few hundred tasks and bunch of resources. Since they all have same skill set, I am not too keen on which task is executed by whom. Is there a way to assign resources and come up with schedule without assigning resources individually. Round robin would be great, if possible.

I think the answer to your problem is to use resource groups:

1. Create a group of resources.
2. Assign each task to the resource group.

OmniPlan will assign each task to a member of the group.
