Is there a way to set a default lead time? for all tasks? Or maybe a script that would add a default lead time to all tasks or selected tasks?

No way I'm aware of to set a default lead time, but setting it for a bunch of tasks is easy enough with Applescript.
The attached script will run on either a selected set of tasks, or the entire document if nothing is selected and the user answers affirmatively. It will increase the lead time on all Finish->Start dependencies to be the value specified, unless the existing lead time is greater. It will also clear such lead times if given an argument of 0.
