Feature Request: Disable layers across all canvases Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I think it would be nice to have the ability to turn off a specific layer across all canvases, let me give an example to try and explain better;

If i am wireframing using Omnigraffle, and i create a layer for annotations, sometimes i may want to output the document without that annotations layer active, it is a time consuming task to go through all canvases and manually do it, so it would be nice if there was some way of turning them all off (and of course back on again) at once

That would be cool. Shared layers work that way, but then you have the same layer on all canvases, so it doesn't quite work for what you want.

It would be great to have some sort of variable system where you can tag variables to certain attributes and then trigger them.

Maybe an applescript could do what you are thinking about? Anyone have any thoughts on that?
