Backing up to external drive (new user) Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I am using Tiger and the backup program that comes with my .Mac account. I would like to add OF data to Backup to one of my external Firewire drives. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You should add the folder ~/Library/Application Support/OmniFocus to your backup plan. (The ~ refers to your home directory.) That's where OmniFocus stores its data by default. If you have changed where OmniFocus keeps its data you can add whatever you've changed it to.

Thanks very much. That is just what I needed to know. I'll set that up tonight and should work fine. I wasn't sure exactly where the data was stored. Thanks again.
