Setting Due Date relative to preceding Action Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
In a sequential project I would often find useful to be able to indicate that an action's due date is N days after completion of the preceding action.

Is there a way to indicate this in the "Due Date" field?

Anyone else would find this useful?

I certainly would, and have requested it via Help->Send Feedback -- you should do so also, as Omni says they take the number of requests they get into consideration when planning their development work. You have to use Help->Send Feedback to be sure of having your request officially noted.

As a clumsy workaround, I put in temporary actions that tell me to set the date for the following item appropriately.

I would find this extremely useful! I'll send a feature request to Omni as well.
