OmniOutliner to iPod? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Is there any software available for OmniOutliner to export to iPods?

Thanks.

I don't know about full fledged apps, but there is an Automator action.

Where? I can't find the download.

Thanks,

Karen

It is installed automatically as part of OmniOutliner - open Automator and find the OmniOutliner actions. One is called Export rows to iPod

OK,

Thanks I found it. I'm having trouble using it though, what action do I use to pass the rows into "Export Rows to iPod"? I've tried using "Set Selected Rows" and selecting the rows I want to export, but that produces no results.

I can't work it out either... Lizard?

That action is not so much with the helpful :(. You can do this workflow:

Get Open Outlines
Find Related Rows (Every descendant)
Export Rows to iPod

Perfect.

With the action "find related rows (every descendant)" I ticked the box for "that is selected." I selected the rows I wanted exported to the iPod and it worked great.

Thanks for your help and patience.

Karen
