If you have read Getting Things Done, there is a workflow for processing your inbox. Well I replicated this workflow in an Omnigraffle document. I am not the best at Omnigraffle yet, but it looks pretty nice.

I could not compress that file small enough to attach it, so I uploaded a jpeg to my flickr account:
