Easily run and switch between two Libraries? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Is there an easy way to run and switch between two Libraries? This is, imho, important when learning any software: I set up a dummy-test-Library, and my personal important-data Library. (Example: following Kouresh Dini's book and building that Library, but contemporaneously adopting what I learn to my Library.) I'd much rather crash the test-dummy. Thanks.

A search of the forum turned up some threads from 2007. Any change since then?

You might ask in the Extras forum if anyone has a script that does something like:

- quit OmniFocus if necessary
- move active OF database to safe place
- move other OF database to the correct place for active use
- launch OF again

If an auto-sync triggered while you were looking at your dummy test library, it'd give you an error about the database not matching up...
