Planning pane is empty - momentary panic Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes

After updating a lengthy client folder in Planning mode, I selected another client folder. I had a moment of PANIC because the task pane was completely empty (totally white).

I selected several other client folders - some displayed tasks and others were empty.

Then I noticed the scroll bar slider in the task pane - it was 1/3 the height of the scroll bar and positioned at the bottom. Scrolling to the top showed the projects and tasks.

It seems to me that OmniFocus should automatically fill the task display pane when selection changes in the list pane.

It might be handy for OmniFocus to remember the scroll location of a folder or project. That is, if the last time I viewed folder ABC, it was scrolled to the bottom, restore that scrolling position when reselecting that folder. Since that could be tricky or confusing, I'd be happy if each new select scrolled the task display to the top.

UI bug: When a task display does not fill the pane, the scroll bar slider sometimes does not disappear, i.e., it stays the same size as it was for an earlier long display. The slider does appear and disappear when it's at the top of the scroll bar.
