Different colours for different tasks in Task View? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
When a project is quite big, with various tasks and subtasks, it can make my life a LOT easier if the tasks appear in different colours in the Gantt Chart.

I can change the colours in the list of the tasks (though manual and tedious, with child tasks not taking the colour of the parent task - a problem?). Is there a way to also have the tasks be coloured in the Gantt Chart itself?

Thanks,
Simon

1) You can change the color of task bars in the Gantt chart in the lower right corner of the Project: Styles inspector. (Look for the picture of a task bar.)
2) You can select several tasks and change their styles all at once -- this should make it a bit less tedious to make all the tasks in one group match.
